Well, it may not be officially here yet, but the feel and look of spring is here. The daffodils are in full bloom as well as pear trees and others. You can even see a faint (so far) film of yellow accumulated on your vehicle! Allergy sufferers beware and prepare. It is beautiful, and the warmer weather and sunshine is welcome (interspersed as it is with rain and cold – ah not so warm). It takes our minds off the inside and drives them outside. I have bought seeds, but haven’t yet planted them. Just the idea of a bit of planting is motivating. Besides that, the focus on the health aspect of doing at least some of your own food growing seems prudent and even necessary as I have been researching and learning more about what we can/should do for a healthy diet and lifestyle. Fortunately, more healthy fare is becoming available as well. It is exciting! It is also daunting at times. Over the years I have tried to provide healthy fare for the family and fallen short. I continue to pursue a healthy lifestyle amid by setbacks. Hopefully, the kids will see in me you are never too old to learn and change.
